​King Of The Hill

The "Beginners Tournament" was an epic way to start off the year! 26 players and 3 left standing in all out heated battle to see who would become the King Of The Hill. This was the last 6 standing, Oman, Tank, Nando, Corona, JB and Eddie. Everyone was excited to have made it to the final round but you could feel the pressure in the air with all the onlookers watching. Corona felt real confident that he could become King because the prior round he played was record setting as he finished the whole round in 15 minutes. So as the game began Oman took  an immediate lead on the table adding more pressure to the other players, but Tank felt that he had more experience and could easily come back. As the game progressed, Corona who just set a record for the fastest round ever played with 6 players (15min) in his prior round, encountered a mental breakdown and could not get past Bunker hole #2 as he repeatedly landed in the Oil hazard and had to start over. Meanwhile Nando couldn't get things going after playing the first 2 rounds so well. JB was quietly making his move but with Oman sharp skills it seemed almost impossible to catch up. Tank tried to make a comeback with some very skillful shots of his own but could not just get it going enough to catch Oman. As the game progressed, Oman came into a groove and caught fire towards the end as he took total control by hitting Eddie in the Lake hazard and then hitting Tank out of his way over the hill and into the mud to give  his self perfect position at the edge of the hill for a high percentage shot at the hill. He then preceded to take his next shot and made it in the hill. Game over, Oman Jones is "The King Of The Hill".
